College auditions are about a year away—it’s time to prepare!

Are you a high school junior focusing on your college search for musical theater or voice performance programs? If so, here are a few questions you should consider:

• Have you considered what repertoire you’ll need to prepare for your pre-screen recordings and live auditions?

• Is your vocal technique working well enough for you to be accepted into top-rated college programs?

• Are you prepared to film a quality pre-screen recording?

• Do you know what to expect on a college audition day?

• Are you working regularly with a teacher who’s familiar with all the details of the college audition process?

Students who study with Michael have been accepted to top programs at Elon University, Boston Conservatory, New York University, University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Baldwin Wallace University, and University of Southern California, among others.

Michael’s approach to online video voice lessons offers you greater flexibility and more access to his time than traditional lesson structures. More frequent meetings combined with a more personalized approach helps students learn and retain skills more fully.

The cost of this package is $5,500 and can be paid in installments over the course of the year. The package includes 48 lessons, personalized practice plans, audition repertoire selection and guidance, assistance with pre-screen recordings, and assistance with audition technique.

It is best to begin the year-long process in March and end in March of the following year. There is some flexibility here in terms of when we can start.
